Gore and Cecil County: Growing Together

Over the past decade, Gore added more than 700 new jobs in Maryland, accounting for over 20% of Cecil County’s private sector job growth. That expansion brought not only high-quality employment but also a deeper presence in the community’s life.

Since 2022, Gore Associates in the Cecil County-Newark, Delaware area have volunteered more than 11,400 hours with local nonprofits—from youth programs and emergency response to animal rescue and public health.

Through our annual Volunteer Support Grants, Gore helps Associates amplify their impact by directing funding to groups like Elkton Lions Cub, Community Services Foundation of Cecil County, and the Fair Hill Environmental Foundation.

Alongside this, Gore’s presence continues to fuel local economic strength—supporting more than 4,500 direct and indirect jobs, investing in long-term careers, and contributing to a strong local tax base. For Gore, being part of a community means helping it thrive.
