Gore Strengthens Local Libraries with $20,000 Donation for Educational Enhancements and Renovations

The spirit of the season — and a spirit of giving — marked Gore’s annual U.S. East holiday party on December 5. Associates from our Maryland and Delaware plants gathered for the festive affair: building on Gore’s rich tradition of celebrating the holidays and our successes together, while giving back to the communities we call home.

During this season of giving, we recognized two outstanding nonprofits that mean so much in our communities and to Gore Associates and their families — providing $10,000 donations to The Friends of the Newark Free Library and The Friends Foundation of Cecil County Public Library. These contributions will support renovations and regular programming.

Libraries are hubs for education and community connection, and Gore’s continued investment in these institutions reinforces our commitment to the community’s growth and vitality.
