Gore Supports Maryland 5 Star and Annual Fox Trot 5k at Fair Hill

Gore’s sponsorship of local events is paired with hands-on involvement, reflecting our deep commitment to community engagement.

This includes our recent support of one of Cecil County’s premier events: The Maryland 5 Star equestrian event at Fair Hill and the accompanying annual Fox Trot 5k held the same weekend on the Fair Hill grounds.

  • For the fifth year, the Maryland 5 Star returned to Cecil County in October, putting our local track on the global equestrian stage. As one of only two 5 Star races in the U.S., the event attracts worldclass athletes and requires dedicated volunteer support. We’re grateful to our Associates who contributed their time and energy to help make this special event a success.
  • The Fox Trot 5k & 1 Mile Bark in the Park took place in the scenic Sawmill area at Fair Hill on Oct. 19, raising money for the Fair Hill Nature Center and environmental education opportunities for Cecil County students. We were proud to sponsor this local tradition and to see so many Associates, community members and four-legged friends complete the scenic course for a good cause.

Gore is honored to support the local community and showcase Cecil County’s beautiful environment, equestrian history and economic growth!
