Commitment to our Neighbors

As Gore Associates, we take tremendous pride in being active members of the community in which we live and work. We are committed to the well-being of our friends, neighbors and fellow Associates. As the largest private-sector employer with more than 3,000 Associates in Cecil County, we recognize our responsibility as environmental stewards and support each other by contributing in meaningful ways to our community.

Associate Volunteer Time

Since 2022, Associates in Cecil County and surrounding communities have taken more than 11,400 hours of paid leave time to volunteer with non-profit organizations in Cecil County and the surrounding communities.

Volunteer Support Grants

Associates can apply annually for volunteer support grants for local non-profit organizations where they volunteer. Examples of these organizations include:  Cecil County Youth Life, Elkton Alliance, Inc, House of Hope Animal Rescue, Singerly Fire Company, Union Hospital Foundation, YMCA of Cecil County, Boy Scouts of America troops and many more. This is in addition to support for a wide range of local organizations through our annual United Way Campaign.
