Additional Monitoring Wells Installed at Appleton Site

On November 20, 2024, Gore submitted a Work Plan to MDE to install additional monitoring wells on and offsite to further characterize the groundwater at the site. The Work Plan was accepted by MDE on November 21, 2024. As of January 6, 2025, the onsite monitoring wells have been completed and the offsite wells are in the process of being installed. Once all wells are installed, groundwater samples and other hydrogeologic data will be collected to determine next steps at the Appleton Campus.
