In October 2024, Gore collected 11 soil samples for laboratory analysis of PFAS compounds at different depths from 6 focused locations on the EMV property. This approach was shared in advance with the MDE and the laboratory results will help Gore understand if concentrations of PFOA are present and determine potential next steps in the investigation.
