Wrapping Up Another Year of Mentoring At Kenmore Elementary

As the school year comes to an end, so does another year of Gore Associate participation in the Kenmore Elementary School mentoring program. In the ‘23-‘24 school year 15, Gore Associates met on a weekly basis with their student mentees as part of this longstanding program. Since 2006 dozens of Gore Associates from our Cherry Hill facility have collectively volunteered more than 4,000 hours to mentor Kenmore students. In addition, Gore donated more than $15,000 in financial support through the Enterprise’s Community Partnership Program.

“Kenmore students with a mentor have made connections that provide a powerful positive influence on their personal growth, through both social and educational development,” said Sally Warner, school counselor at Kenmore Elementary School.  “Through these caring relationships with Gore mentors our students are better equipped to tackle the challenges of each day!”

The program is expected to resume again in the fall for the next school year.
